Readers beware there might be spoilers ahead in this review.
I won't bother with the summary or synopsis, because I think the novella's description does it best and I don't want to mess with that. So, let me dive in to the review. This novella is a quick read and can be read in a morning or afternoon or evening. It's that short! The things the novella has going for it is that it's clean. If you want a novella that doesn't have sex scenes or cuss words, then this novella is for you. I find at times it is refreshing to read a clean novel without all the sex and cuss words once in awhile. Another thing that it has going for it is that the main protagonist, Lenora is written in a way where she is not a complete helpless young woman and can speak her mind. Third thing, most romance novels, the ones I've been reading lately, forget about friends or women relationships and just focus on the main love interest only. I'm glad there are connections among women. Now, you must be wondering why would I give this novella three stars. The relationship with Jackson and Lenora I felt was rushed or there wasn't enough moments between them for me to believe they actually fallen in love with each other. I think a few more scenes with each other would've helped in that department. Another thing, I wish that Lenora got to tell Jackson about Claudia and that scene got played out. The big huge reason for a star to be knocked down was that the whole wedding scene was glossed over, one paragraph devoted to the wedding. I love reading wedding scenes and I felt robbed of that.
So all in all a 3/5.

well written and the story blended in theme and the times. The characters were interesting as we're the locations in this captivating book.

Great story.easy read.maybe you can tie in all the stories into one with the ladies some how meeting each other and becoming friends. (Just a thought) read all of these within a few days. Great new author in my favorite genre.
What a wonderful and uplifting book, shows the power and wonder that love can bring. Hope to see several more book to the series.
Annie Boone writes with such emotion. You feel as if you have transported yourself into the story. She navigate the genre with ease. The quick reads are a treat.
